If You Want To Help

Oceanside Community Service

OCS is partnering with St. Anthony's food pantry and is accepting donations of non-perishable food including: chunky soups, pasta sauce, canned ravioli, chopped chicken, shelf-stable whole or 2% milk. Drop off at 2486 Columbus Ave.

Check on Your Neighbors

It's important to practice social-distancing but you can call, text, or even knock on a neighbor's door to check in on them. Perhaps at-risk neighbors could use help with grocery shopping or obtaining other supplies.

Use Nextdoor's New Help Tool

Nextdoor, the social networking app designed around local communities, is launching a new interactive map to let neighbors offer help to one another during the novel coronavirus outbreak. Called Help Map, the tool lets you mark yourself as available to help with anything from grocery shopping to child care.

Consider Donating Blood

Many blood drives have been canceled to social distancing and the American Red Cross is urgently requesting donations. Learn more.
