What is S.O.M.A.?

Professional Development has changed over the years, and there are so many unique options for online learning. Among them, are classes that provide credentials to teachers to facilitate learning for others, or to develop an expertise in a platform, content, or skill. In order to build capacity at this level, we have initiated a new way to encourage teacher leadership in online learning. The SOMA application can be used to apply to take worthwhile, high-quality courses or classes which are not 'graduate classes' in a traditional content area. If you have any questions, email us at opdc@oceansideschools.org.
