Welcome to the 1st & 2nd grade instructional page! I’ve had the pleasure of already meeting and working with so many of you in my role as a special education teacher and now in this exciting new role of a TLC, I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work side by side with many more of you. My experiences with colleagues in the varied settings where I’ve worked have helped me to grow as an educator. In my 7 years of employment with Oceanside, I’ve learned that creativity, flexibility, and collaboration directly benefit students in both general education and special education settings. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, cuddling with my yellow lab Ollie, traveling, and cheering for the Yankees, Dolphins, and Islanders.
