The Instructional Media Center at the Township of Ocean Intermediate School has lot to offer. We are excited about a couple of new additions to our school library, they are the MakerSpace Lab and the Livestream Studio where our morning show The Ocean View is webcasted each morning. There are innumerable ways that the IMC can enhance your classroom instruction. See below for more information.
The IMC subscribes to many valuable resources on behalf of our faculty and students. These may include comprehensive content providers like Discovery Education or online encyclopedias and primary source databases. Be sure to get the most out of our school's databases.
OPALS is our library management system. Whether you are looking for a book, an ebook, a database login or more information about our facilities, OPALS is where you want to start.

Students in the 7th and 8th grades have a personal website that highlights their accomplishments in the classroom and extracurricular. This step-by-step guide shows students how to create a professional website.
Student portfolios have long been a best practice at TOIS. Now 7th and 8th graders will have a portfolio in the form of a webpage. This is an opportunity for the student to show off what they have learned throughout the year.
