Lady Spartan Soccer Staff
Coach Della Pesca attended John F. Kennedy High School in Iselin, NJ where she was a four year varsity letter winner and a two year captain for the girls soccer team. Throughout her high school career, she earned all-conference and all-state awards. She continued her soccer career as a collegiate athlete at Montclair State University (MSU). During her four years at MSU, the team clinched a NJAC Championship and was the first women’s soccer team at MSU history to advance to the NCAA tournament. After her MSU soccer career, Coach Della Pesca continued with the program as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2005 and 2006 season. She continued her coaching career as a soccer trainer for Coerver for the past 10 years training a multitude of teams and players in every age group throughout the state. This will be her 11th year teaching as a Health and Physical Education teacher at OTHS. Coach Della Pesca was also the JV girls soccer coach at OTHS during the 2014 and 2015 season.
Coach Casner attended Wall Township High School where he played soccer and was on the swim team. After graduating, he attended Rowan University where he earned a Bachelors in Secondary Education, History, and Special Education. He began his coaching career training triathletes and junior lifeguards. Once he came to Ocean Township, he began coaching the girls Freshman soccer team. After one year, he became the Assistant Varsity coach where he has stayed the past four years. This is his fifth year at Ocean Township, teaching for two years as a Special Education teacher and three years as a History teacher.
Coach Krzyz is a 2003 graduate of Ocean Township. Besides coaching girls soccer, he is the Varsity Assistant for the boys basketball team and the JV baseball coach for the Spartans. This is his 6th year working at the Intermediate School as an Instructional Assistant.
Coach Fiorillo attended Howell High School where she played Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse. After graduating, she attended Rutgers and Monmouth University where she continued her soccer career and earned a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Elementary and Special Education. This is her second year as the Freshman girls soccer coach and Third year teaching at Wanamassa Elementary school as a fourth grade Special Education teacher.
