What is a Teacher Previewer copy of a course master?
Course masters contain Ministry provided content that meets curriculum guidelines. Previewing the content allows you to determine if you would like to add this content to your teaching.
If I preview the content in the course master and I like it then, what is the next step?
You can add Ministry content into your course shell by following these instructions: Instructions for Adding Ministry Content to your Course Shell in the VLE
Alternatively, you can email vle.support@ocdsb.ca to request that this content be loaded into your course shell.
Can I modify content in a course master once I bring it into a course shell?
Yes! Content can be added to the course (for example, you may have some resources that you currently use and would like to incorporate into this online learning).
Can I reuse a course shell that I had used previously? For example, I had a course master and I modified it to use some great resources that I wanted to include.
Yes! You can copy the content from that course shell into your current empty course shell. The instructions would be the same as in our Instructions for Adding Ministry Content to your Course Shell in the VLE however you would search for the title of the course that you wanted to copy (Step 3).
