image of forest on winter taken low to the snow covered ground. Text on image reads: On my walks the path beneath me varies. When the path is a concrete trail through a jungle of brick, my ears are plugged with a recorded thunderous melody. But when I am alone on a path of earth and rock under a canopy of green, my ears are open to the symphonic story, that the land and all its creatures, wishes to tell me.

''Inhabited Land''

This piece is about how when the explorers came to Canada, they proclaimed it terra nullius. It is about how popes signed papal bulls designating that this land was now theirs. It is about the oppression of Indigenous people justified by documents and is a portrait of unceded, unsurrendered land.
