All About Miss Walsh

“Hi! My name is Abby Walsh, and I am currently in my second year as a student teacher at Uottawa. I am very excited to have the opportunity to complete my practicum at WEJ this year and look forward to getting to know the students, staff, and school community.

For the past seven summers, I have been a Director at Thunderbird Sports Camp with TMSI Sports Management. Camp has become an incredibly meaningful part of my life, both personally and professionally. This experience have played a significant role in developing my passion for working with youth, and I am excited to continue building on that experience in an educational setting.

Outside of work and school, I love spending time at the cottage with my family and two Bernese Mountain dogs, being with friends, playing hockey  and travelling whenever I get the chance. I always try to make the most of life by seeking out new experiences and adventures. Travel is a particular passion of mine, and I look forward to continuing to explore new places and create memories with my friends and family in the years ahead.

I am very excited for the year ahead and grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of the WEJ community!”
