all of your work will be delivered to you through Google Classroom

your lessons, resources and assignments will be "handed out" as a package at the beginning of the week so that you can plan how you use your time based on your own commitments and access to technology

Spring 2020 you can expect the package of work to be live in Classroom by 9:00 on Monday mornings.

I often post work on a Sunday to give you the chance to make a work plan for the week ahead. This does not mean that you need to do work on Sunday!

choose whatever method works best given your "home office" reality

options: Google Classroom, sharing via Google Drive, email, take a photo of handwritten work and email it, arrange facetime to do an oral assessment

I am "present" for you during every school day. Send me an email if you have questions and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

if you would like facetime to get help with something, send me a note and we'll arrange a time.

if I ever arrange a Google Meet for the class, it will be optional. I know it can be difficult to access the technology and schedule all your classes for these.

remember that you are only to spend 3 HOURS per course per week

it can be difficult for me to judge how long something will take - if you are finding that it's impossible to fit in the Geo work in 3 hours, let me know and we'll reassess

Spring 2020: I sent out a few email newsletters when we started our Learn at Home phase, and let you know that I would switch to using the website and Classroom so that you weren't overwhelmed by teacher emails.

I encourage you to have your child walk you through our Google Classroom. You can request weekly Classroom updates if you're not already registered.
