Starting in the 2025/2026 school year, Maplewood will be offering grade 9 and 10 dance courses! If you are looking to take dance and haven't signed up, talk to your guidance councillor once
Our courses focus on learning, creating and performing dances! You will learn full class pieces, and create small group numbers in a variety of dance styles. Through these processes, you will learn about the creative process and techniques used in various dance forms. At the end of each term, our classes will come together to put on a dance showcase where you will have the opportunity to perform your dances!
If any of that sounds intimidating, don’t worry, we will provide you with the tools you need to create and perform with confidence!
