A Message from Mr. Plewis to Paw Print Staff and Readers

I'd just like to take this rather public opportunity to thank the monumentally dedicated Paw Print staff and contributors who took a chance on an idea brought forward by JMSS Student Council to give voice to the community and shine as bright a light as they could on everything that's gone on this year at, and not at, John McCrae.

To start a school newspaper (or school newspaper website, in this case) is not an easy feat. To do it during a pandemic when we have been variously in and out of the physical building took not only effort, but passion on the part of our storytellers, reviewers, recipe makers, cartoonists, photographers, social media mavens and everyone else who went out of their way to make this work as well as it has. To run a (mostly) weekly version of that took even more than I can say here.

To all of you who were a part of the JMSS Paw Print ,2021 edition, thank you.

To all of you who took time out to read, whether it was every edition, or just one article, thank you.

To the supportive administration, educators, and staff of John McCrae SS, thank you.

I will not miss the Google Meet Chat, but I will miss making fun of people pitching me stories about Anime. I may have learned what AoT means, but that doesn't mean I'll watch it.
