Glashan Public School Book Club

The Glashan PS Book Club meets in the Library Learning Commons on Tuesdays during 1st recess.

Students meet weekly with Ms. McNabb to read and discuss a book of their choice, the author, and the various aspects of the genre. The students discuss their reading goals (reading challenge by monthly theme, total number, etc.). There was a student-led initiative to record a book themed podcast using equipment loaned to the Library Learning Commons by BL&T in 2024. Check out the episodes below! In addition, the students promote literacy in the school with the creation of shelf-talkers and posters.
