I graduated from Queens University with a Bachelor of Education in 1989. I started off my career in my hometown of Pembroke, Ontario teaching at the elementary level. Eventually, I transitioned to teaching adults which was a very rewarding experience. When I moved to Ottawa in 1999, I decided to upgrade my skills in order to teach at the secondary level. This was the best decision I made as it provided me with an amazing opportunity to work at AY Jackson. AY has been my second home for over 20 years! I wouldn't want to work anywhere else!
