Support Newcomers Arriving in Ontario
The Government of Canada has announced special measures and humanitarian pathways to support people seeking to leave regions experiencing conflict or crisis and come to Canada. Foreign nationals must meet all eligibility criteria set out by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and may be eligible for settlement support upon arrival.
Everyone in Ontario has the opportunity to support the arrival of displaced individuals and families and any newcomer to Ontario. The Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI) is currently accepting the following offers of support:
We appreciate your offer of support to newcomers arriving in Ontario. We are collecting and processing offers of support as quickly as possible. We thank you for your patience and will contact you directly to discuss the next steps. If you have questions regarding the donation process, please email us at ODP@ocasi.org.
If you are working with displaced Ukrainians as a Service Provider, you can find more Settlement Information and Resources on our page for settlement sector professionals.
OCASI was formed in 1978 to act as a collective voice for immigrant-serving agencies and to coordinate responses to shared needs and concerns. OCASI is a registered charity governed by a volunteer board of directors. You can learn more about OCASI on our website.
