The Gateway City Board was formed by the City of Oberlin to appoint willing volunteers to serve on the board. The board oversees day-to-day operations and rentals of the facility and strives to minimize overhead and annual operational loss, while continuing to ensure the facility is in working order and in compliance with the State Fire Marshall, Department of Labor, KDHE, amongst others. The Gateway City Board works closely with the Gateway Friends Foundation for fundraisers and long-term planning to create a space that is self-funded.
