Hello! I’m Charlotte Stephenson, and I’m from Fort Worth, Texas. Most people call me Char, and I use she/her pronouns. I am a senior working toward majors in Theater and German and a minor in Studio Art. This is my second and last year serving as a Theater Department Student Representative. My main focuses in theater are Scene Design, Scenic Art, and Props. I have worked in the Theater department’s paint shop as a scenic artist since my first year, working on both Oberlin Theater and Oberlin Opera Productions. For the past three summers, I have worked as a carpenter and Props Director at the Seagle Festival, an opera and musical theater festival for young artists in the Adirondacks.
Please feel free to contact me at cstephe2@oberlin.edu if you want to chat about anything Oberlin Theater related!
Mia Richardson is a fourth year Theater major from Council Bluffs, Iowa. While at Oberlin she has acted in plays including The Maids, Ancestra, The Amateurs, and OSTA's production of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and directed an excerpt from Far Away by Caryl Churchill. She has also dabbled in stage managing, but she thinks she will leave that to the experts. Mia works as a carpenter TA in the scene shop and thinks the smell of sawdust is sort of nice. She believes the best kinds of plays are the ones that make you laugh really hard and cry just a little.
