The lights in Hall are a fucking bitch. Talk to Joe and ask him to show you how they work.
To get into Hall, you can enter via the side door next to the Arts Building. Take the ramp up into Hall. You can also enter the space via the rear doors by the loading dock.
The booth is located inside a broom closet and up the ladder of doom. I'm not kidding, it actually is.
The printer is located on the second floor of Hall Annex in the copy room.
The lights within the space are controlled via a keypad at the front and back of the space.
To enter the space, you have to go around to the back and enter via the doors next to the loading dock.
The booth is located on the third floor at the back of the house. To get to the booth, you can either take the stairs inside the Wurtzel, however the door is usually locked, or you can take the elevator up to the top floor.
Call boards are located in the light and sound lock outside of the Welch Rehearsal Studio.
The green room and dressing rooms are located down the stairs by the costume shop (where you entered from).
If you need extra tables or chairs, there are usually some in the hallway outside the space. Otherwise contact Joe Natt.
Food is not allowed inside the Wurtzel. If people wish to eat they must go to the green room downstairs, the scene dock, or the lobby.
The printer is located on the second floor of Hall Annex in the copy room.
There is a speaker system built into the walls. They are used to communicate with the cast and crew backstage. Talk to Joe to get a walk through of how it works.
Talk to Eric to get the needed swipe access for this space.
If there is a space related emergency your primary point of contact is Joe Natt.
Lights in the Kander are controlled by switches on each side of the theater, in the light locks, on the wall near the door. They are under small plastic cases- just flip them up, then press the switch.
To enter the space, go through the Kander Lobby doors (at the back of the theater building), walk down the short hallway, take the first right, and then the doors will be immediately on your right.
To get to the upper booth, take the stairs directly next to the Kander Theater, and the door to the booth will be on your right. Sometimes for Kander shows, though, the main lighting and sound will be done from booths set up in the theater instead of the booth.
Brooms are in the light lock at the far end of the Kander that also functions as a storage space. This is likely also where your prop table will be stored.
Prop storage-see above
The call boards are the cork boards on the wall near the bathrooms and eating area (the Green Room)
If you need extra tables and chairs, talk to Joe about getting them from the closet in the Green Room. There should be chairs set up in the house as well. If you really need more, steal some from the classrooms or Studio 100.
The printer is located on the second floor of Hall Annex in the copy room.
Food is not allowed in the space, or in the light locks. Plain water is allowed.
The Green Room is down the hall from the Kander, where there are tables, bulletin boards, and a small kitchen space.
Talk to Eric to get the needed swipe access for this space.
In case of emergency, call Joe or Eric. If it's a problem with the space itself or a technical issue call Joe- he is the point person for the Kander. For problems like injuries, call Eric.
Lights are just inside the room on the right, on three switches.
The Welch is located in the back of the Nord Complex. You can only enter from the back by the loading dock. The Welch is behind the Wurtzel on the left side.
Actors should use the cubbies to store their belongings during rehearsal.
There is an integrated video/audio system in the Welch. Talk to Joe if you need to learn how to use it in order to run projections, rehearsal tracks, or something else.
Capstone productions (Kander LabSeries) typically rehearse in Warner. Sometimes directing classes do too.
The call boards for these studios are near the Warner Booth.
These studios are primarily available for class rehearsals (acting workshops, directing workshops, and lighting design classes.)
Studio 200 doubles as a lighting studio with a small grid.
Before you leave either studio, make sure that all furniture has been pushed to the edges of the room and that the floor is clear.
In 100, props can be left in the props cabinet through the door on the right when you enter the studio.
No food or drink other than plain water are permitted in the studios. You may eat in the Hall greenroom on the first floor, where the tables and little kitchenette are.
