Alex (she/her) is the principal investigator, always chasing the thrill of discovering something no one else has observed before. Outside of the Science Center, you might find her running around the streets of Oberlin, foraging in the woods, or, most likely, just taking a nap.
Ale (she/her) is a third-year Biology major from Denver, Colorado. She is captivated by all the mysteries and unknowns that exist in science. She is part of Oberlin's lacrosse team and loves music, card games, running, hiking, and skiing.
Ellie Edwards (she/her) is a third year biology major with a particular interest in signaling pathways and protein structure. Outside of the lab, she can frequently be found drawing in Tappan square, attempting to perfect her cinnamon roll recipe, or searching the Oberlin arboretum for her favorite plants and insects.
Caitlin Kluger (she/her), is a third year at Oberlin, studying Biology, Comparative American Studies, and Gender Sexuality and Feminist Studies. While you'll often find her in the lab micro-pipetting into petri dishes, outside, you'll find her on her bike, knitting a scarf, or cooking in the Tank kitchen.
Sophie (she/her) is a second year Biology and Neuroscience double major with a concentration in Global Health. She grew up moving all around the world and hopes to work internationally in the future. When she's not in the lab, you can find Sophie reading a Murakami novel, baking, or riding around Oberlin on her racing bike with hot pink handle bars.
Fuka (she/her) is a fourth year from Kobe, Japan, and Grand Rapids, MI, double majoring in biology and piano performance. Outside of the lab and practice room, she enjoys spending time in her coop, catching up with friends, or dashing between the conservatory and the science center.
Grace (she/her) is a 2nd year biochemistry major at Oberlin from Kansas City, Missouri. She is fascinated with faulty biological mechanisms and pathways, but also spends her time making comics, swing dancing, or just wandering around in nature.
