Please bring ONLY the tri-board to school. Equipment and accessories should not be brought to school. We recommend taking photos of the experiment and attaching them to the tri-board.
To begin a science fair project, first start with a question your child has about science, for example, "Which seed will sprout faster, a marigold or a radish?". Check out the science fair links on this web site for good project ideas. Follow these steps in completing the project:
Problem: What do you want to learn?
Hypothesis: What do you think will happen?
Materials: What will you need for your experiment?
Procedure: The step by step directions of what you will do
Conclusion: What did you learn?
Please put the title of your project across the top of the board in colorful, bold lettering. On the left side, list the problem and hypothesis. In the middle section, list the materials and procedure. On the right side, state the conclusion to your project. On a large index card, list your child's name, grade, teacher and room number and post it on the bottom right corner of the tri-board. Scroll down to see some samples of science fair project boards.
