What is Grade Point Average (GPA)?
GPA stands for Grade Point Average. It is a standard way of measuring academic achievement within the United States. GPA is especially important throughout high school because not only does it show your academic excellence but, it is also used when applying for Colleges/Universities and Scholarships.
It is important to remember that the GPA you earn AFTER your JUNIOR YEAR, is the GPA that will be used to for the college application process.

97-100 = A+
94-96 = A
90-93 = A-
87-89 = B+
84-86 = B
80-83 = B-
77-79 = C+
74-76 = C
70-73 = C-
65-69 = D
0-64 = F
