Agboola Akeem Babatunde was born on April 9, 1980, in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He is a Nigerian academic technologist and researcher affiliated with the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, where he has served since July 2011 and currently holds the position of Principal Technologist. He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics (Atmospheric Physics) from Obafemi Awolowo University and is presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Physics (Solid State Physics) at the same institution.
