Who may vote?
Oregon students in grades 3-12 may vote for ORCA. To qualify for voting, the person must have read, or listened to, at least 2 books in one of the divisions.
When does voting take place?
Voting occurs annually between March and April of each year.
Ready to send in votes? Here's how:
To be eligible to vote for their favorite ORCA book, students must have read (or listened to) at least TWO of the nominated titles in their grade level division.
Each reader is entitled to ONE vote.
School librarians, public librarians, and/or teachers will tally votes, and then enter the total voting tallies for their building using the Total ORCA Votes Google Form.
The winning titles will be announced at the Oregon Library Association Conference in April 2026.
