Credit Hours

Conference attendees have the option to earn a graduate-level college credit or Washington clock hours through Seattle Pacific University.

To be eligible, you must register with Seattle Pacific University by 11:59 on Friday, October 11th; pay the fee; and attend both days of the conference.

Details:

  • Cost: $55 for 1 college credit hour; $20 for 10 Washington clock hours
  • Registration deadline: 11:59 pm Pacific on Friday, October 11th

  • Requirements: Register on time; attend a minimum of 10 hours of workshops, sessions, or keynotes; take notes at each session; and turn in the assignment on time. Seattle Pacific University will only allow people to earn 8 hours of session time for any day of a conference, so you can only get 10 hours of session time by attending both days of the OASL Fall Conference.
  • Assignment & Syllabus: For credit => session summaries plus summative paper; For clock hours => session summaries; Both => You must document all of the sessions (can include featured speakers) that you attend, and that must add up to at least 10 hours. Details are in the syllabus.
  • Assignment deadline: Email your assignment to Jennifer Maurer by 11:59 Pacific on Friday, October 25th. Details are in the syllabus.
  • Grade: Once your grade is posted, Seattle Pacific University will mail your grade to you. Or, you can check it using the login you will receive after you register.
