Letter for Administrators

From collection development, instruction, programming, and more, this is the only conference of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, dedicated to all facets of school library management. If you need more information to share with your administrator to support funding, here is a letter from OASL President Kate Jacobson Dutro. And while sessions are still being developed, last year's schedule can give administrators and decision-makers a glance into what to expect at the conference.

Pre-Conference School Library Bus Tour

Friday, October 9th "OASL Legendary School Library Bus Tour"

Meet at Hartley Elementary School (701 185th St., Portland, Oregon)
Arrive at 8:45 AM for check in. Bus leaves promptly at 9:00 AM.
Tour ends at approximately 3:20 PM, and we'll return to Hartley around 3:30 PM.
Look for a full schedule of stops in the coming weeks!
We will make a lunch stop at the Fairview Food Carts (The Fork). Lunch is on your own.
Tour cost: $50

Discounted registration fees are available to current OASL/OLA members, as one of the benefits of continuing your membership.

Starting 9/13, registration costs:
Members: $170
Non-members: $200

Registration includes conference sessions, breakfast bites and coffee, awards lunch, and authors.

Registration will remain open up to the day of the conference, but OASL cannot guarantee meals for attendees after September 26th.

If your district/organization is sending 5 or more people to the conference, you are eligible for a $30 discount on your organization's individual registrations. If eligible, email membership@oasl.olaweb.org for more details BEFORE registering.
