Dear Parents and Carers,
At last we have been graced by the sun. This has coincided with more outdoor PE and sports events, including Kent County Cricket sessions for several classes. We have also had more opportunities to learn outdoors which can be extremely motivating and a refreshing change for children and staff alike.
With outdoor learning becoming more frequent and with the ever-improving weather, please ensure that your child comes into school with ample water, sun cream applied and a sun hat.
Should your children be confident enough to re-apply suncream in school then we also advise bringing a botte of suncream into school in their school bags labelled within a clear plastic bag in case of spillages.
With upcoming trips for many classes, please ensure you check emails and school bags for any letters which may require you to sign and confirm that your child will attend and their lunch preference too. I have continued to endeavour to keep trip costs at a minimum for parents and carers and expect that these are paid for in advance. Should there be financial constraints around paying for trips for any reason, then please arrange a meeting with myself via the school office.
Please be mindful that we have experienced techinical difficulties with our pedestrian gate across the last week. Please continue to ring the buzzer to inform the office you are waiting to enter the school site and a staff member will allow you access.
I would also like to wish the Year 6 cohort the very best of luck for their SATs this week. They have worked tirelessly and should be very proud of their progress and determination to succeed. I am sure you will all do brilliantly well!

Our uniform supplier, Brigade Clothing, has provided the following uniform ordering deadlines for the new academic year:
Families can start to order the new logo uniform from Saturday 1st June
Deliver to School orders:
You must place your order by Friday 14th June for delivery into school before the start of the September term.
You can then continue to order for home delivery:
Home Direct Orders:
You must place your order by Friday 2nd August for delivery to home before the start of the September term.
