ABOUT MS. BOSGRA

Welcome to the Library Media Center! I am so excited to have a wonderful school year with you! I have been working at Dogwood Hill School since 2003. Before that, I taught 3rd grade in Englewood, NJ. I studied education and psychology for my undergraduate courses at Susquehanna University and graduated in 2002. I earned my Masters in Education from TCNJ in 2017. I am currently working on my second Masters at William Paterson University. As you can see, I am a lifelong learner! I have two daughters, Hannah and Hailee. My husband is also an educator in Hoboken, NJ. During my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, biking, and spending time with family and friends.

In my role as the School Library Media Specialist I will work diligently to provide meaningful and purposeful lessons. I will encourage students to think critically, research effectively, and communicate productively while incorporating goals and objectives of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and the American Association of School Librarians (AALS) Standards for the 21st Century Learner. Parents and Guardians, I look forward to working with your children this school year to make sure your child makes academic, social and emotional growth while we are together in the Library Media Center.
