Phase 1: Propose
Now until Aug. 16
We welcome all submission ideas, but encourage those that respond to the conference theme: How Does Writing Engage?
Proposals should indicate which one of three presentation types: Talk, Make/Do, and Collaborate. To submit your proposal, visit the link to proposal form.
Each session runs 75 minutes. Space will also be available for ad hoc, on-the-fly, spontaneous discussion, action, and collaboration.
Phase 2: Teasers
Sept. 1 - Sept. 23
Once we get a sense of interest for the different types of sessions, conference organizers will assemble proposers into Talk-Make/Do-Collaborate sessions.
We will also contact proposers to initiate Phase Two, during which presenters will post something online that expands upon the proposal.
What exactly this "something online" looks like is open to presenters’ talents and proclivities: a blog entry, a slidedeck, a podcast, a video, etc.
You could also think of this as a teaser or a preview for your session and a few of its key provocations. Plan to post your "something online" by September 23, 2019.
