Getting started

  1. Register on the online record book (ORB). You will need to put down Alyssa Nusdorfer anusdorfer@oakhill.nsw.edu.au as the Award Leader and select "parent will provide consent via email". You will approved once you have made your payment for the program (see below links).

2. Have your parent complete online permission emailed to parent/guardian email address from the ORB and make payment via trybookings.

3. Set up activities on the online record book, including assessor details, hand in complete assessor commencement guide for physical recreation, skill and service. This needs to be done in order for your activity to be approved to begin logging your hours.

4. Complete the 3 training modules under Adventurous journey below before your Year 9 Camp in Term 4. You will need to use the google slides to help you complete the google document and use this to successfully complete the google form for each session. Each session should take a maximum of 40 minutes.

5. After both AJs, complete the AJ report using the scaffold below and upload to your ORB.

6. When you think you have complete the Award, email Miss Nusdorfer to verify your Award.

Adventurous Journey

Training and preparation: As a requirement of the Silver Award, you are to attend a COMPULSORY training afternoon prior to attending your Practice and Qualifying Adventurous Journey to plan your route, meals and equipment with your team members.

The mode of transport for both the Practice AJ and Qualifying AJ will be hiking.

Use the information found in the slides to work through the worksheet.
