Bernal Intermediate School
Bernal Intermediate School provides quality course offerings that we hope will pique students’ interests and are a great complement to core academics. In the spring, our incoming students (Grade 6) and our current students (Grade 7) select their preferences for electives courses for next year. All 6th & 7th graders may formally request course elective preferences online through a google survey.
*Please note that Bernal Staff tries their best to give students at least 1 of their 3 preferred elective choices and that elective offerings and the selection process are subject to change at any time.

Hello 7th Grade students!
It’s that time of the year where we start our preparations for the next year. In the next few weeks you will need to be thinking about your electives classes and how you want to be successful in 2021-2022. Have you wanted to be involved with rallies, spirit days, lunchtime activities, improving your public speaking skills, helping with school sponsored events and providing input on school decisions? If these things sound interesting, then Leadership would be a great elective for you!
Leadership typically has a lot of interest, so for this class there is a selection process.
To Apply for the Leadership Class, complete the following 3 steps:
Fill out THIS APPLICATION and submit it by Friday, April 16th at 3:00
Email 2 of your current teachers and ask them to fill out a Teacher Recommendation Form for Leadership Class (teachers have already been given access to the form)
Make yourself available for an interview with leadership teachers between Monday, April 19th and Friday, April 23rd. Interviews will take place on a Google Meet or in person (outside and distanced from other people) at 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM.
