This is a living document of guidelines established and agreed to by the students of The Uses of Discomfort, ITP NYU
- End class with a debrief so we can all check-in with each other
- Frame our feedback in the form of a question or observation
- Use specifics in feedback - aim for purposeful feedback*
- Stay within NYU policy
- Reserve the right to pause class, and take a moment to assess/consider/check-in
- Use fail-safes in our designs (what will happen if things don't go exactly as intended?)
- Establish a safe space in the classroom - we don't share beyond the class without consent
