I'm a Social Psychologist at the University of Kansas.
I'm an incoming PhD student at the University of Kansas for the social psych program. After earning my B.A in Psychology at New York University, I worked as a research associate at the Computational and Cognitive Neural Sciences Lab at UC Riverside (working with Dr. Ian Ballard).
My research interests include the contextual factors-- situational, individual difference, and cultural-- that impact people's experiences of emotional processes. Specifically, I'm interested in using naturalistic methods-- experience sampling, mobile sensing and ambulatory physiology-- to capture how emotions are experienced in daily life contexts. Additionally, I'm curious about the individual difference factors that impact someone’s capability to implement expertise in emotion (such as emotional granularity).
