Welcome to the site for the annual Research & Scholarship Showcase presented by the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development Graduate Student Organization (GSO). The 12th Annual Research & Scholarship Showcase will happen on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.
We are dedicated to sharing the research and scholarship of all Steinhardt Graduate students by showcasing the original research of all our presenters and celebrating our awardees.
About the Research & Scholarship Showcase
What is the Research and Scholarship Showcase?
The Research and Scholarship Showcase is an invaluable opportunity to witness the wide range of research being conducted by Steinhardt Graduate Students. Students are encouraged to give voice to and present their original research in one of two modes of presentation (Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation) to compete for awards and prizes!
Presentations are judged by Steinhardt faculty members who have dedicated their time and efforts to research. Through the Research and Scholarship Showcase, one cash prize will be awarded in each category to the best research as chosen by our esteemed judges.
Categories & Awards
Presentations will be approximately eight minutes, including a Q&A from our faculty Judges. Each presentation will include a brief synopsis of the research question, how that question was answered, and the results.
Presentations will be posted on Google Sites, where judges and the NYU community can view the posters. These posters will include an abstract, a brief synopsis of the research question, how that question was answered, and the results.
Each presentation will embody Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion values by highlighting marginalized communities and identities through exemplary research.
