This site serves as the candidacy exam submitted in partial fulfillment of the EdD degree for Quenna Lené Barrett, a student in NYU Steinhardt's Educational Theatre Program. It contains the components required for the examination: a portfolio which includes a narrative statement that describes how the student has met the New York State Standards for theatre, relevant artifacts which demonstrate how the student has met those criteria, and an annotated bibliography in service of the student's culminating study; an arts dialogue which includes a written presentation given on my arts-based research project to date and reflections on feedback from peers; and the student's curriculum vitae.
