Home for real estate innovation, entrepreneurs, technologists, and professionals curious about technology.
In the past few years, innovation in technology and its implementation has accelerated its impact on the real estate industry. These changes are bringing structural changes to job functions and real estate use. During this course, students will explore innovation and entrepreneurship in the real estate industry and leave with a tool kit to understand, approach, and embrace technological change occurring in the real estate workplace.
The course will appeal to students to develop a working understanding of innovation in real estate, to explore a “pain point”, and evaluate investment into opportunities.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, participants leave with a working knowledge of:
The maturation of a company
The problems being addressed with technology
The various means of consideration, vetting, adoption, & engagement.
Proptech, or property technology, encompasses all residential and commercial real estate software. Various proptech tools and real estate technology platforms build efficiencies in different phases of the asset lifecycle, from deal management, to portfolio management and beyond.
