At NYU SPS, both the Graduate and Undergraduate Student Councils stand as the voice of our diverse student body, with representatives elected annually.

What We Do:

Advocate for student needs and concerns
Plan academic and social programs
Foster community and connection
Expand leadership and networking opportunities

Participation in student government allows students to lead initiatives, build networks, and contribute meaningfully to university life.

Committees offer students the opportunity to lead events and initiatives in various areas, including service, design, production, and recreation. Current committees include:

STUDENT CLUBS

SPS also has student clubs that speak to both the academic and social aspects of student life at the University. Clubs offer a creative forum for exploring intellectual, business, and cultural passions while opening the door to establishing communities of interest and deeply enriching the academic experience.
