Our team is investigating the relationship between sensory skills and speech skills in children and adolescents with typical speech and language development. Help advance science and experience the research process firsthand!
Eligibility
kids and teens 9-17 years old
started learning American English no later than age 3
no history of major hearing, speech, language, or learning difficulties
Compensation
$30/hour
Time Commitment
one day, 1-2 hours
eligibility: participants will be asked to complete a series of speech and hearing screening tests to determine eligibility
main task: if eligible, participants complete a series of speech and sensory measures, including ultrasound imaging of the tongue during speech

This research study is being conducted by research groups at New York University and Montclair State University under the supervision of Dr. Tara McAllister and Dr. Elaine Hitchcock.
