Hi! I am an Assistant Professor of Economics (RTT) at Roma Tre University, and a Research Fellow at the CLEAN Unit for the Economic Analysis of Crime at Bocconi University.
My research examines the interactions between politicians and society from a political economy perspective. In particular, I study the political economy of organized crime and the causes and consequences of right-wing populism. My work, generously funded by Fondazione Cariplo, NYU and Fondazione Roberto Franceschi, has been published or is forthcoming at the American Economic Journal, the Journal of Public Economics and the American Journal of Political Science, among others. I received my PhD from New York University in 2023.Â
