Thanks for visiting my website! I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Milan and the CLEAN Unit for the Economic Analysis of Crime at Bocconi University. My research examines the interactions between politicians and society from a political economy perspective. In particular, I study the political economy of organized crime and the causes and consequences of right-wing populism. My work, generously funded by Fondazione Cariplo, NYU and Fondazione Roberto Franceschi, has been published at the Journal of Public Economics, the American Journal of Political Science, and the Journal of Political Institutions and Political Economy.

I received my PhD from New York University in 2023. Prior to NYU, I worked as a Predoctoral Research Fellow at Bocconi University, Department of Social and Political Sciences. Here are my CV and Google Scholar Profile.
