Quinn Andrews is a rising senior at Cornwall Central High School. This is her first summer with LFS and she is grateful to the production team and cast for being so welcoming. Quinn is also an alumna of the NYSSSA School of Theatre class of 2019 and 2020. Quinn enjoys hiking, playing ukulele, and making jewelry. She is a member of her school’s concert choir, a Safe School Ambassador, a member of National Honor Society, and president of her school’s drama club.
Elektra Birchall is a rising senior at the High School of American Studies at Lehman College. This is her fourth year with LFS, appearing previously in The Tempest (Caliban), The Two Noble Kinsmen (Doctor, Greek Chorus), and The Comedy of Errors (Adriana). Other acting credits include As You Like It (Rosalind), Fame Jr. (Schlomo), Much Ado About Nothing (Benedick), Twelfth Night (Mariah, Sebastian), The Lion in Winter (Geoffrey), and Richard II (Richard II). Elektra is on her school's mock trial and moot court teams, loves playing tennis, and is always ready to go to a protest.
Helen Cook is 15 and a rising junior at Little Creek Academy. This is her first Shakespeare performance and her first summer with LFS. She has performed at her local community theater many times since developing an interest in theater in 2018. Her biggest performance so far would be portraying Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker last spring. She is currently working on graduating high school with an associate's degree. She is active at her local high school's drama and theater program and enjoys taking film classes in Atlanta.

Aaron Dorelien is a rising freshman at Fordham University. This is his fourth and final year at LFS, appearing previously in The Comedy of Errors (Solinus), Two Noble Kinsmen (Arcite), and The Tempest (Sebastian). Aaron would like to thank everyone at LFS for four years of genuine community and atmosphere filled with people that truly care about the work and telling a story. He's sad it's over, but he'll always feel grateful for such an incredible experience that never got old.

Teddy Embry: This production marks Teddy's acting debut. He is excited about the idea of acting in more shows since got $.50 for each shot he filmed, which will lead to more LEGOs.
Lev Garfein is a recent graduate of Cooke High School in Manhattan. Next year he will be attending Winston Transitions, a post-High School work program for neurodiverse students. Lev enjoys playing violin in many different styles such as Klezmer, Jazz, Rock, Irish, Bluegrass and Classical. During the pandemic he often plays with his Brooklyn stoop band, which was featured in articles in the Brooklyn Paper and AM New York. This is his second year with LFS. Big shout out to the LFS team!
Sky Hirshfield lives in South Orange, NJ and is a rising third grader at Jefferson Elementary School. This spring Sky appeared in Shrek Jr, the Musical which rehearsed on Zoom as well. Sky loves to swim in her backyard pool and go camping.
Eva Hollick is a rising second grader in Mountain Lakes, NJ. She loves playing with her cats Pearl and Johnnie, and enjoys swimming and playing on her backyard water slide. She is also an avid artist. She’s so excited that she gets to do Shakespeare as her first theatrical project!
Max Hollick is so excited to be able to do The Winter’s Tale for LFS 2020! This is his first show with LFS and would like to thank the cast & crew for being so welcoming to him. He enjoys acting, swimming, fishing, and playing with his cats, Johnnie and Pearl. Max is playing Mamillius, the young prince of Sicily. He is currently going into 5th grade and just turned 10. He wants everyone to enjoy the show.
Noelle Maher is a rising Senior at Neuqua Valley High School in Illinois. She is thrilled to be in her first LFS production. Some of her past productions outside of include Singing in the Rain (Kathy Seldon), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Shrek (Dance Captain), Godspell (Featured Soloist/Disciple). Outside of theatre, Noelle dances with O’Connells Performing Company and is involved with the honors choir and honors vocal jazz group at her high school.
Jackson Moore is a rising Junior at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts as a theater major. This is his second summer with LFS, appearing previously in The Comedy of Errors (Messenger). Other acting credits include Charlotte's Web (Homer Zuckerman), A Midsummer Nights Dream (Lysander), and Little Red Riding Hood (The Wolf). Jackson also collaborated on writing, directing, and acting in The Names That Hurt - a play at his school focusing on raising awareness about bullying and inequality in society. Jackson also enjoys playing piano, swimming, and spending time with friends and family.
Seraphina Moore is 8 years old and in 3rd grade. She lives in Savannah, GA. Her credits include Moana, Jr. as Grandma Tala, Matilda (ensemble), The Wizard of Oz (Munchkin and Poppy), Rainbow Fish (Nautilus), and Charlie Brown Christmas (Snoopy). In her spare time she loves swimming and all things Wings of Fire.
Sasha Moscona is a rising senior at La Jolla High School. This is her second summer with LFS, appearing previously in the 2018 production of The Two Noble Kinsmen (Queen 1). Other acting credits include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania), Romeo and Juliet (Friar Lawrence), The Tempest (Ariel), and Almost, Maine (Rhonda). Sasha also enjoys making short films, writing poetry, and baking. She is the President of her school’s Environmental Action Club and active Thespian in Troupe #4518.
Brian Muñoz Reyes is going on to his freshman year of high school at Professional Performing Arts High School. This was his first summer in LFS, in this production of The Winters Tale he plays the role of the Clown. Brian also was in many other productions at the HPAC program for the last five years. Brian loves to perform and he loves sports. He is a member of the National Junior Honor Society at his school. Brian is a young performer who is ready for the next step in his career.
Caroline Emilia Pastilha is a rising freshman at Fordham University at Lincoln Center. This is her second year at Looking for Shakespeare, appearing in last year’s Comedy of Errors as Emilia. Other recent acting credits include The Secret in the Wings (Heidi). In high school, Caroline co-led a troupe of the International Thespian Society! Caroline would like to thank EVERYONE at LFS for making this an amazing experience and a truly memorable summer!
Nicky Redd is a freshman at Marymount Manhattan College pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. Nickys Favorite credits include tick, tick..BOOM! Rachel Smith is a rising junior at The Brearley School. This is her fourth summer with LFS, having appeared in The Comedy of Errors (Luciana), Two Noble Kinsmen (Queen 2, Greek Chorus), and The Tempest (Gonzalo). Other acting credits include Twelve Angry Men (Juror Eight), Twelfth Night (Antonio), The 39 Steps (Annabella Schmidt), and A View from the Bridge (Mike). At Brearley, she is head of the French Club and Summer Heart Club, and an Admission ambassador. She volunteers as an audiobook narrator. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her sister and two dogs.
Lexi Spindel is a special needs actress and is 16 years old and in 10th grade at the Titus School. It's her first year doing LFS. She is in the 2020 production of The Winter's Tale with LFS as Lydia the Governess and one of the servants. She is a part of a few acting companies including CO/LAB, ACTIONPLAY and EPIC Players and has been doing some classes with the Broadway Star Project. Her past projects include: Goldilad and the Three Bears (Mother Bear), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy) and Peter Pan (Wendy). She is currently writing her own script and hopes to have her show on Broadway someday. Hope you all enjoy the amazing show that we put together for all of you to watch!
Zune Stone is a rising junior at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts. This is her first summer doing LFS! During her sophomore year she helped write and acted in The Names that Hurt, a student written play about societal issues. Zune also enjoys playing her guitar and songwriting. She is very passionate about Shakespeare. She is a member of the International Thespians Society at her school.
Mikari Tarpley is a rising junior at the Cobb County Center of Excellence in the Performing Arts (CCCEPA). This is Mikari's first summer with LFS. She is extremely excited! Her acting credits include Disney's 'The Lion King' National Tour (Young Nala), Nickelodeon's 'Alex and Me' (Lexi), The Oprah Winfrey Network's 'Queen Sugar' (Tia), CCCEPA's 'Legally Blonde' (Leilani), CCCEPA's 'Newsies' (Bowery Beauty), CCCEPA's '9 to 5' (Mindy)', 'Madeline's Christmas' (Mary/Dominique), and 'Honk Jr.' (Ida). Mikari loves to read and all things interior design! She is a member of her school's Gospel Choir, National Honor Society, and Tri-M Music Honor Society.
Issey Yourman is a rising sophomore at Laguardia High School majoring in drama. This is her second summer with LFS previously in The Comedy of Errors. Other acting credits include Macbeth (Witch 2), Pippin (merry player), Lord of The Flies (Ralph's female version Renee), Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Violet), Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), and Mabou Mines "Dollhouse" (Ivar). She enjoys writing and has written a 20 page play along with many essays involved in social activism concentrating on the injustices in our prisons and overall justice system. She is involved with her schools environmental club and also takes pictures for the schools flyers. She is very involved within her school drama program where she helps usher the shows and manages the social media for her grades student drama representative.
Stephanie Anderson (Company Manager / Inclusion Specialist) is a director, actor, and teacher with a particular passion for accessibility within the arts, especially since performing with the neurodiverse cast of Peter and the Starcatcher at NYU. Stephanie spent five years creating a theatre program at a high school in China before getting her MA in Educational Theatre from NYU. She has since worked for Opening Act, Ping Chong + Company, TADA! Youth Theatre, and TDF’s Accessibility Department. Amy Cordileone, PhD (Director) is a director, choreographer, and designer whose artistic work and research is focused on investigating aesthetic spaces across the globe. She has created partnerships with organizations worldwide, most notably within the educational community in Uganda, which was at the center of her doctoral work. At NYU, Cordileone continues to develop innovative content for a variety of Steinhardt programs, including the NYU Youth Theatre Ensemble, Theatrix (a bi-annual festival of student work), Playlabs (in collaboration with notable regional theatres), and the Writers' Roundtable (a mentorship experience pairing emerging and professional playwrights). Amy’s passion for new work development led to the curation of the NYU Forum on Developing New Work for the Theatre (2013) and the Forum on Site-Specific Performance (2015). Her directing and choreography credits include: Last Night in Town (San Diego Workshop), Noël Coward’s Brief Encounter, Meta (premiere), Little Shop of Horrors, The Heart Cycle (premiere), Underground: An Unauthorized Ben Folds Jam Session (premiere), Two Noble Kinsmen, Alice: The Looking Glass Girl, Les Misérables, Peter and the Starcatcher, The Comedy of Errors, and more. Additionally, Amy is the Editor-in-Chief of the Teaching Artist Journal, a Taylor and Francis publication. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance from the University of California, at Irvine. Cordileone completed both her MA and PhD at NYU.
Cordelia Driussi (Choreography / TikTok Editor) is from the San Francisco Bay Area, currently residing in the Midwest while distance-learning in the Master's Program of Educational Theatre at NYU. This is her first Looking For Shakespeare production! At NYU she was also involved in the premiere of Making Gay History: Before Stonewall. Her undergraduate degree in Theatre & Education was from Indiana University, where she worked on productions like Heathers: The Musical, City of Angels, She Kills Monsters, See What I Wanna See, and directed a high school production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised] during her student teaching experience. Daryl Embry (Production Designer / Coach) is thrilled to be once again spending the summer with Looking for Shakespeare and collaborating once again with Amy Cordileone, having previously designed her productions of Alice: The Looking Glass Girl, META, Brief Encounter, Two Noble Kinsmen, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Comedy of Errors. Daryl is an alum and adjunct professor in the Program in Educational Theatre.
Cassie Holzum (Production Stage Manager) is a freelance stage manager and Educational Theatre alumni. This is her third year stage managing LFS, and she could not be more proud of the work the ensemble put in and the show it produced! Previous LFS shows include The Comedy of Errors (2019) and The Two Noble Kinsmen (2018.) She also stage managed Making Gay History: Before Stonewall, Radium Girls, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Of a Certain Age for the Department of Educational Theatre. Michelle Eden Humphrey (Costume Designer / Coach) manages the costume shop for Dept. of Music and Performing Arts Professions, NYU Steinhardt and has been creating costumes for NYU since 2003. Outside of NYU, Michelle has been designing costumes for theatrical productions, high profile celebrities, advertising companies’ corporate events and private parties for many years. Deborah Hunt (Shadows & Puppetry Designer) has, since 1973, lived and worked as a mask maker, mask and object theater performance artist, creating and presenting original theatre works, performance and festivals or encounters. She has been fortunate to present her work in the South Pacific, Caribbean, Europe and Asia. She was born and raised in New Zealand and has been based in Puerto Rico since 1990, working bilingually (English/Spanish) since 1985. She creates many different kinds of puppets. She builds giants. She teaches mask work and puppetry in communities worldwide. Her practice is focused on and explores puppetry in public/private spaces. She creates giant puppets that transform into peepshows. She has introduced lambe lambe theaters or traveling peepshow boxes to Puerto Rican audiences in open-air plazas so that all kinds of people can see the tiny shows. She is interested in performing in unconventional places and often to very intimate audiences unused to visiting theatrical spaces. She says she does theatre of the useless because she does not want to be useful to the commercial status quo. She animates the inanimate and chooses as a mask and puppet performance artist to somehow reflect our times.
Michael Kimm (Editor / Production Designer) is in the Master’s Program in Educational Theatre at NYU and is ecstatic to be working on his sixth (!!!) Looking for Shakespeare project. He is entering his fifteenth year as a high school theatre teacher and, since the pandemic and quarantine, does a livestream with his wife (a former Broadway and Vegas producer) on a whole host of theatre topics. Michael has worked as an actor, musician, director, designer, technician, stuntman, and choreographer in a professional career now entering its 33rd year, but he’s never worked on a project as unique as this one! Special thanks to Amy, my lovely partner, and the whole team for executing so well on such a special project. Hope you enjoy the show; it’s seriously one of a kind!
Daniel Nakawatase (Music Engineer) is thrilled to be back for a second year of LFS! He is a theatre educator, director, and music director with a particular addiction to musical theatre. Hailing from California, Daniel is currently the director of the Theatre Arts and Academy for the Arts programs at St. Anthony High School. Beyond the school setting, he enjoys frequent collaborations with Encore Theatre Group, an educational theatre company. Working with such an innovative and creative team of artists on this barrier-breaking digital adventure has been an honor!
Zack Palomo (Assistant Stage Manager / IT Support) is a recent graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts. This is his third summer as the assistant stage manager for Looking for Shakespeare. It’s been an honor to navigate this new rehearsal process with the incredible staff and participants of the program. Year after year, LFS continues to be a safe and fun environment, even if that environment is virtual.
Ashley Renee Thaxton-Stevenson (she/her/hers) (Dramaturg/TA) is a theater artist and educator working at the intersection of art, education, and equity building. She strives to create anti-racist, accessible theater that empowers both artists and audiences to dismantle white supremacy. Robert M. Thaxton-Stevenson (Producer / Creative Associate) is a theatre maker and educator, specializing in ensemble-based devising, design, and Shakespeare. This is his fourteenth summer working with LFS and he’s thrilled to be back! He teaches drama at the Chapin School and has previously served as a Teaching Artist for The New Victory Theater, the Metropolitan Opera Guild, Lincoln Center Education, and New York Theater Workshop.
