All schools in this consortium utilize the Law School Admission Council's LLM Credential Assembly Service to submit supporting materials in connection with the application process. To get started, create an LLM account.
All schools' online application forms also are accessible via LSAC.org.
International LLM students are vital to our law school communities and to the education that all of our students receive. All schools in the consortium employ experienced professionals who support our international students as they apply for student visas and throughout their studies in the US.
Given recent changes to the review process for new student visa applicants, we advise that you commence the process as soon after reserving a seat at one of our schools as possible. We've seen the process take a bit longer in recent years as security has increased, but our students largely have been successful in obtaining their visas in time to start our LLM programs.
International students typically apply for a visa and attend an interview at the US Embassy or a consulate located in their home countries. Students from countries that are subject to a current travel ban may find they are unable to obtain a visa, depending on the individual circumstance.
For factual information about the visa process that is relevant to new international LLM students, we suggest you monitor the departments responsible for the student visa process at our respective institutions:
