Sponsored by the Office of the Dean for Humanities, the 6th Annual NYU Conference on Second Language Pedagogy will provide an opportunity for language instructors to exchange innovative research and effective practices, discuss successes and challenges of teaching world languages, and create opportunities for further collaboration.
This year’s conference theme is “Open Educational Resources and Collaborative Initiatives”. We invite proposals from faculty and graduate students for papers (20 minutes) on the topics related to the theme of the conference, including (but not limited to):
Supplemental resources and materials beyond textbooks
AI as an interactive, collaborative teaching and learning tool
OER Commons and other platforms for equitable and accessible learning
Cross-course and/or student-centered collaborations for content creation in teaching and learning
Technology and digital tools for resource sharing
Preference will be given to presentations that are hands-on, practical, and directly applicable to the classroom.
Abstracts (250 words maximum) should be submitted online by Monday, June 2, 2025 before 11:59 p.m. EST via this form.
