Script:
There are two archeaologists. One of them (Liu) discovers an ancient artifact with Chinese written on it. But he couldn’t understand it, so he asks another archeaologist (Leo) who has many advanced technologies for help.
Leo inserts the artifact into the scanning machine that requires cooperation. He then called Siri, now as a intelligent robot, to help. They start working together, but soon they have conflicts as AI focuses too much on logic and perfections, only conforming to codes.
Eventually, Leo turns to Liu to work together. With real life interactions and communications, they decipher the ancient Chinese characters successfully. They celebrate for the human interaction that really matters.
extra scene: the chinese says we love IMA in NYUSH, We love interaction lab.
All of us worked together in the making process. The idea of human-robot and human-human cooperation was initiated by Siri. After we made the language deciphering system, I took advantage of the idea and revised it to the whole script. During the time, Liu was documenting us with his phone.
We usually share our ideas on wechat. We first had a short online meeting to discuss about the task allocation and finalize our plan. When meeting in person, we just start doing it with plan made. There are not many conflicts as we are responsible for different parts of the project.
