1. How do I register for the conference?

Conference Registration is now closed. 

2. What is the registration deadline?

All attendees must register before: April 24th, 2026. If registration is full, you may email us to be placed on the waitlist. 

3. Where will the conference be held?

The conference will take place at New York University on May 7, 2026. More Information provided following registration. 

4. Who can attend this conference? 

This conference centers attendees from across the NYC/ Tri-State area who are advanced undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. Please e-mail us if you have any questions. 

5. Is there a conference registration fee?

No, there is no cost to attend this event. This Student Conference is proudly sponsored by: NYU CLACS, Center CIRCL NYU, The Latinx Project, A/P/A Institute at NYU, NYU Steinhardt and NYU MCC.

6. Will conference sessions be recorded or available via. zoom? 

Unfortunately due to limited capacity for this event, we are unable to record or offer online sessions. This event will be in-person only. 

7. How do I share any accommodation needs or requests? 

You will be prompted to share accommodation needs and other requests in the registration form, however you may also email us with any other questions or concerns. 

8. I have registered for the conference, but my plans have changed and I can no longer attend, how do I update my registration? 

We kindly ask you to email us if you have registered and can no longer attend at: Imagining.Otherwise2026@nyu.edu so we may offer the spot to others on the waitlist.
