Ivan Camponogara

Ivan is an Italian postdoctoral associate at the psychology department of the NYU Abu Dhabi. He received his Bachelor in Sport Sciences from Universitá degli Studi di Udine (2008). Then a master in Preventive and Adapted Exercise Science (2011) and a Ph.D. in Science of Physical Exercise and Human Movement (2016) from the University of Verona in Italy. His main research interest is the investigation of the neural basis of motor control and multisensory-motor integration.

Jad Mahmoud Halabi

Born and raised in Lebanon, Jad moved to Abu Dhabi to pursue his Ph.D. in materials science at NYU Abu Dhabi. Having graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Jad wants to use his engineering background to advance the discovery of smart materials from the lab into real-world applications. His research focuses on finding new materials whose unique properties push the limitations increasingly faced in materials design and technology. Jad is a strong advocate of entrepreneurial research and interdisciplinary collaborations, which he believes necessitates the communication of science in its most understandable and relatable form.

Lucia Pizzinato

Lucia Pizzinato is a photographer with an interdisciplinary approach and an art specialist. After the BA in Visual Arts and Theatre at IUAV University of Venice, she graduated from the Master in Photography and Visual Design at NABA (New Academy of Fine Arts) in Milan, in 2013. Her works has been exhibited at Fondazione Bevilacqua la Masa (Venice) Fondazione Forma per la fotografia (Milan), Fondazione Francesco Fabbri for contemporary art (Pieve di Soligo), Palazzo Bomben (Treviso), Zimmerfrei Gallery (Trieste). For many years she worked for several pavilions at la Biennale di Venezia as Art Events Coordinator and Cultural Mediator and at the 12 edition of Art Dubai fair as Exhibitor relations Assistant. Recently she has been the curatorial production manager of the exhibition “Arctic. Last frontier “at NYUAD Conference Center.
