(SPAIN ETA 2024-25)An artist at heart, Hunton (LS '24) is teaching English at a secondary school in Madrid and connecting with her host community through film and dance. She is also a co-producer/director of the documentary AfroArgentina.
LAUREN BROWN
(SENEGAL ETA 2024-25)Lauren (Gallatin '19 and current PhD Candidate at Columbia University) taught English in Dakar, where she was invited to present her research on Black hair and Pan-Africanism at the West African Research Center. Check out Lauren's podcast, My Colorful Nana.

(BULGARIA ETA 2024-25)Drawing on her theater background, Mercedes (Tisch '19) will implement creative activities in her ETA classroom while deepening her knowledge of post-Soviet history and exploring Bulgarian folk music.

This 2h interactive writing workshop will prepare you to write the first draft of your Statement of Grant Purpose (SOGP), the most important component of your Fulbright ETA application.
UPDATE 5/21: Sign-ups are now closed for the ETA SOGP Intensives. If you are reading this on or after May 21, please fill out the Fulbright Intent to Apply form instead.
Applicants who have submitted a draft of the SOGP (see Step 2 above) will have access to advising appointments and draft review.
In addition to the Statement of Grant Purpose (SOGP), you will need to respond to three Short Answer Prompts (SAPs) in your Fulbright online application:

Applicants who have completed a first draft of their SOGP will be invited to register for our SAPs writing workshops.

Complete and lock your application in the Slate portal by Monday, Sep 1, 11:59pm ET to participate in the Campus Review endorsement interviews
CAMPUS REVIEW Friday, Sep 12
All applicants who wish to receive NYU's endorsement must take part in a 25-30 min interview with a small panel of NYU faculty and staff who will review your application and give you feedback and suggestions for improvement. This process is known as the Campus Review.
