In their abundance and distinct architecture, mosques serve one purpose: to provide a space for Muslims, regardless of their background, to perform prayer alongside other Muslims. At the call for prayer, Muslims suspend reality to strengthen their bond with the almighty creator. In this sacred space, we are all one.
