Intro to Computer Programming: These 11 self-paced learning modules are made available as OERs thanks to the NYU Courant eLearning Pilot Project. They are used by hundreds of students each semester.
Papiers-Mâchés and Capsules de Grammaire: These open source platforms give French language learners exercises to strengthen existing grammatical knowledge. They were developed by Aline Baehler, Senior Lecturer in the French Department, and are available for public use.
Powtoon: PowToon is a user-friendly animation creation tool that’s built directly into NYU Stream. PowToon can be used to create animated presentations, instructional videos, learning modules, and even student-created projects. These animations can be added directly to a Brightspace course, or shared via a link. See our documentation for details.
H5P Project: This open source project from MIT allows anyone to build and maintain interactive content modules in a flexible html5 format. These content packages can also be downloaded and packaged as SCORM modules, which allows for rich reporting and grading in our new LMS, NYU Brightspace. See our documentation for details.
