Milestone 2: Project Plan (S1)

1. Design Process

The framework I adopt is the double diamond process based on human-centered design (Dan, 2016). Based on this model, I divide my project into 4 phases:

Phase 1: Discover

Research problems and gather insights about the challenges faced by university students.
Research methods:
- Primary user research, e.g. surveys
- Secondary desktop research

Phase 2: Define

Define the major problems faced by university students.
Deliverables:
- Problem statement
- Personas

- Milestone 3: Research

Phase 3: Develop

Create and iterate on solutions that address the defined problem.
Processes:
- Generating ideas
- Wireframing
- Prototyping

- Milestone 5: Prototype & Design Rationale
- Milestone 6: Video Pitch & First Paper

Phase 4: Deliver

Finalize the design and ensure it meets user needs and expectations.
Processes:
- Designing
- Concept testing
- Usability testing
- Evaluation
- Iteration
