Our Interest & Purpose

The prevention of child maltreatment is a public health priority - affecting more than 600,000 children in the U.S. alone each year and has been associated with lifelong adverse biopsychosocial outcomes. This lab focuses on research on the development and optimization of interventions to prevent child maltreatment and the implementation of those interventions in applied community settings.

All of our lab members are commited to the prevention of child maltreatment with a perspective of inclusion, cultural sensitivity, representation, and health equity.
