Plain language takes away complexity so the message is potrayed clearly. It cuts sentence structure, vocabulary, and context down to what's necessary. The downside of losing this language is losing depth in the point on what youre trying to get across. I find using plain language important because it is a helpful too for people who have a hard time with words and understanding very thoughout sentences.

When I put my text into claude to translate it into plain language I noticed that it did simplify wording and the tone of the original passage a lot , but at the same time it would overly use repetition and commas to get its point across rather than being straight forward. Rather when I used plain sight it breaks down each sentence structure in a more actual person way of writing. It was more like a bullet point sentence structure, not any adverbs. A website person checker is way more efficient than relying on ai to try to convert or check your writing for you.
