Don’t miss Saturday’s breakfast keynote address with renowned multicultural educator Dr. Sonia Nieto! Dr. Nieto will be joined by her daughter, ENL teacher Alicia Lopez. Dr. Nieto’s work in the field of multiculturalism is unprecedented and she will reflect on her life’s work alongside her daughter to share their new book Teaching, A Life's Work: A Mother/Daughter Dialogue.


Saturday’s conference lineup also includes a full day of session options including a featured presentation on collaboration and co-teaching by Andrea Honigsfeld and Maria Dove. Saturday will also feature a Teacher Leadership for ELLs Forum for teacher leaders from K-12 settings, and a Masters and Doctoral Student Forum for professors and their students. Choose from over 50 presentations in areas such as higher education, teacher education, elementary education, secondary education, multilingual education, bilingual education, adult education, teaching English internationally, special education, and applied linguistics.
